CLUB RULES, STUDIO & GYM ETIQUETTE

All of the below rules are for the benefit, courtesy and safety of all our members.
We ask members to abide by these rules at all times.

General Club Rules

  • Correct clean training shoes to be worn at all times.
  • No abusive or offensive language.
  • No personal training or coaching other than by staff.
  • Staff only behind the reception desk.
  • Membership will continue to roll after the contract has expired until notification of cancellation is received.

Studio Etiquette

  • If you wish to attend a class you may book a class two weeks in advance by booking online, at reception, in person, by phone, email or Facebook.
  • No bags or clothing allowed in the studio as these items are a trip hazard, please use the lockers in the changing rooms.
  • If you are new to a class please inform the instructor prior to the class starting.
  • Please ensure you arrive 5 minutes before the start time, entry could be refused once a class has started.
Classes may be cancelled or changed by Morgan’s at short notice due to:
  • · Seasonal changes.
  • · Rotating classes to the most popular slots.
  • · Low numbers of participants – at least 5 participants for a class to run.
  • · Classes failing to build to at least 10 participants will be taken off and changed for a more popular class.
  • · Instructor holidays.
  • · Unavoidable circumstances such as traffic delays or illness.
  • · Classes do not run between Christmas and New Year, Easter and Bank Holidays.

Gym Etiquette

  • Replace all equipment after use.
  • Wipe down all equipment after use with spray and paper roll provided.
  • Only gym clothing to be worn. No combats or clothing that has zipped or button pockets.
  • Correct clean training shoes to be worn at all times.
  • No persons under the age of 16 years allowed in the gym unsupervised.
  • No personal belongings allowed on the gym floor unless being used for training purposes.
  • Do not use equipment outside of what it is designed for.
  • Do not monopolise equipment. Allow others to use the equipment whilst you are resting.
  • No-one will be allowed into the gym unless they have been properly inducted by a member of staff unless they have signed an induction waiver.
  • No eating on the gym floor.
  • All drinks must be in a sealable plastic bottle.
  • No telephone calls to be made whilst on equipment.
  • No spectators on the gym floor.
  • No chalk to be used in the gym.

Please do not be offended if you are confronted by a staff member and asked to conform to any of the above rules. Repeated failure to abide by our rules could result in termination of membership.
